Due to the educational climate and post-war tragedies in Liberia and now with the Ebola epidemic, we're also providing group counseling and counseling techniques for our staff so that they can become effective mediators for both students and their families. More importantly, they are given a fresh start in life and have an opportunity to make a positive change...a new Life begins!

FACILITATORS:

Facilitators will guide your child in developing their communication and learning skills.  Throughout our programs, we recognize that each child is different in personalities as well as academically.

We help each child recognize the benefits of education and social behavioral development while establishing a sense of 'self'.  It is essential to guide them towards a more productive lifestyle so they understand that 'positive' action creates 'positive' results.  This does take effort and work.

Teachers will have some freedom through our plans so that students can work both independently and cooperatively.

PROGRAM ASSESSMENT:

Our structured programs will allow individuals to conquer poverty through education.  Our Programs are essential; it teaches moral values, good citizenship, character building and skills that prepares youths for tomorrow's world regardless of social or economic background.

Despite growing investments in Liberia, the educational resources still fall short.  The school system in Liberia and that of the United States, continues to show a decline in academics properity for all. There are not enough teachers and activity programs to keep children busy and out of mischief.  Each year, more youths are left alone at home to fend for themselves.

A child's educational experience must be positive both physically and psychologically or else, students will begin to show less interest in assuming the roll of being responsible as well as loosing site of their educational needs.  We are here to help prepare them for the future, to become career focused and self-sufficient individuals.
